Getting to this place is a hassle. The open-air design means insects can come in, and while there are mosquito nets and repellent, they could really benefit from tighter mesh netting on the openings. It's also a bit overpriced—dinner had a fixed fee with no menu choices, which didn’t feel worth it, even though breakfast hit the mark. Plus, the lack of a locking mechanism on the door is a bit concerning for security, despite having an outside locker available.

This oasis of peace in Sri Lanka exceeded all expectations! The superb lake view from my room was breathtaking, and the staff were genuinely eager to assist.
